| Liz & Chris
purchased one of our Rother dinghies for use as a tender to their
yacht moored off Hayling Island, we received the following email
from them at the end of the season.

My husband and
I bought a Rother from you at the start of the season and we have
been absolutely DELIGHTED with it.
We have a 10 minute
trip out to our yacht, which is in relatively sheltered water
(Mill Rythe) but, even so, the wind and sea can get up at times
and we have never had any worries about the dinghy. We need to
balance our weight with just the two of us but then it is very
stable and ships surprisingly little water even when its wind over
tide!
Also it is amazing how
much this boat will carry and still float in hardly any water!!!
This is such a boon when loading and unloading. It is interesting
to see the expression on people's faces when we have unpacked
everything from the car boot and put it on the sea wall. You can
see them thinking 'They can't possibly get all that in there' but
we do!
So thank you very much
indeed for a SUPERB little boat - so lightweight but so sturdy.
Just what we wanted.

Ray & Brenda
travelled from Bristol to East Sussex looking for a small day boat
to explore the rivers around their cottage in France, we supplied an
early With 450 (Bonwitco) with refurbished "period" snipe trailer.

Mark
Thank you
very much for all your kind assistance in getting us safely on the
road. We arrived safely, stopped to check a couple of times but
had not moved one inch. No problem at all rolled along great on
the trailer.
We are very
pleased with our small boat and Ray has made a start today on
getting it ship-shape. Lots of plans for kitting it out but
it won't be to next year before we get it to France so don't
expect an "after" picture for about a year.
Many thanks
again.
Brenda
One year
later Brenda sent us the following shot of herself & Ray on the
River Charente in France, the smiles say it all!!

Colin contacted us with a request to find him an open dory with good
trailer & "very reliable engine", we sourced a 13 ft Dell Quay dory
which we refurbished, the trailer had every moving part replaced
including axle, to satisfy the engine criteria we supplied a new
40hp ELPT Mercury, the refurbishment took two weeks & the boat was
eventually delivered to Colin at Northney Marina on Hayling Island.

Dear Mark
Thank you for the way in which you dealt with the supply and
purchase of my Dell Quay Dory. I found you to be both professional
and honest. The advice and guidance on my purchase was second to
none.
It was excellent being kept up to date at each stage of the boats
fitting out on the phone e-mail and digital e-mail pictures.
As for the hand over of the boat well that was 1st class. You
clearly enjoy what you do and have a high emphasis on sharing safety
knowledge with your customers.
Should I decide in the future to up grade at any time my first port
of call will be Boats 4 Fun. To other potential customers of Mark
Osborn, I would say "you will not be disappointed with Mark's
service and commitment to meeting your needs.
Your only downfall is admitting to being a former RN seaman!
Thanks for everything.
